Compression mode

Drop images here or choose files

Up to 20 images, 50 MB each, 200 MB total and 40 megapixels per image. Animated images are exported as a single frame.

    How it works

The tool decodes, resizes and exports each image locally in your browser. Process several images and download them individually or as a ZIP.

    Quality and resolution

Quality changes lossy compression, while resolution changes the pixel count. The target-size mode combines both when needed.

    Formats

JPEG suits photographs, PNG preserves transparency losslessly, WebP is a balanced modern choice and AVIF appears only when the browser can encode it.

    Privacy

All processing stays local. Canvas export may remove EXIF metadata, so keep the original when metadata matters.

    Frequently asked questions

How can I compress an image without losing much quality?

Start around quality 80 and inspect the preview. Reducing dimensions often saves more than an aggressive quality reduction.

How can I reduce an image to 100 KB?

Choose Target size and 100 KB. The search adjusts quality and dimensions when needed; an exact size is not guaranteed.

Are images uploaded to a server?

No. Images are processed in your browser and are not uploaded to our servers.
