How to convert your images
Select WebP files and press Convert all. PNG needs no quality setting; leave dimension limits empty to keep the pixel size.
When to use this conversion
Use it to bring web assets into presentations, designs and editors without WebP support. PNG is useful for further editing without adding lossy compression at each export.
Format differences
WebP can use lossy or lossless compression. PNG stores decoded pixels and alpha losslessly, but cannot reconstruct details discarded from the original WebP.
Quality, transparency and size
PNG can be much larger than WebP. Transparency is retained without a white background. For smaller shareable files, also compare WebP to JPG.
